Our second annual event in Milford, MA was held on Saturday, July 22nd at the Maspenock Rod and Gun Club in Milford, Massachusetts. Club member L.A. Jones once again was able to secure this location for us. The club has a nice outdoor area as well as a covered pavilion - which this year, we needed to keep dry later in the day. The location in Eastern Massachusetts helps to bring our members from that area. If you haven't been, the location is very convenient - about 10 minutes from the intersection of the Massachusetts Turnpike and I-495. We are working on plans for the date once again this coming summer - and those plans include a nice sunny, summer day!

We had a couple "long-distance" dealers join us: Andy Wadysz from Michigan, Steve Goodell from Canada, and Dick Bowman from western New York. It was great to see Dick out and about again. We had about 20 tables set up in a fine mist and showery morning - that's about 5 more tables than last year. Attendance was up around 40 or so judging by the amount of lunch we went through and the lack of leftovers!

A large covered pavilion with picnic tables provided relief for the hard rains that came in right around lunch.

At least the weather held off for most of the morning and allowed everyone to mingle and buy / sell/ trade what they wanted to. Once the rain hit, that pretty much ended the day. It made it tricky to dodge the rain and load up my sales stock though - balancing the desire to get it done with not wanting to get all my cardboard soaked. Thanks again L.A. for securing the location.
