Hi. Just wanted to drop a line  to let you know how much I enjoy CJOW. I wanted to show you our new backyard pole. My friend Killian and I put it together (with a little help from my dad). Dad had to cut a dead tree down & we talked him into making a display pole out of it. He says it might only last about a year or so, since the tree will still continue to decay below the surface. The top was cut off of the tree and we put up a cross arm that we brought back from a hunt. We also applied a coat of linseed oil. The best part was choosing the insulators to display.
