   About the Editor  


Howard Banks  became the third editor of Crown Jewels of the Wire magazine in January 2003.  He and his wife Linda have been married for 31 years.   Linda works part-time as a nurse. Howard has retired from law enforcement. He held the rank of lieutenant and was the jail commander for Josephine County, Oregon. They have two grown-up children. David is attending Convergence School of Ministry in Fort Worth, Texas. Christa lives nearby with her husband, John Kobrzycki. They have a 18 month old son, Knowledge, and another baby on the way.  

     

    "My goal as editor will be to continue the quality of this publication.  It will be a tough challenge, one I pledge to pursue wholeheartedly.  Pet projects will include supporting local, regional and national insulator cub activities; and promoting the hobby to children."
